Third Quarter Rocks at the festivals

Summer music festival season has officially started! And we love it!

Discovering all the young, upcoming artists and reliving the music from our own younger years.

Many of the A listers on stage are just in their twenties, like Olivia Rodrigo or Dua Lipa.

But ageism has not hit the concert stages. There's so many successful artists out there doing their thing in their fifties, sixties, seventies, even eighties. And we're so happy for that!

Let's imagine for a second that we would apply the whole anti-aging trend to music?

That would mean we forget about all the great musicians that still headline festivals. Here's a few of our favourites.

Let's Get into the Groove of a wonderful summer with Madonna (66). And you can dance... for inspiration... come on... I'm waiting.

Did you know Debbie Harry, aka Blondie, turned 80 yesterday? Who doesn't remember the infamous song Rapture? Toe to toe, dancing very close...

Stevie Wonder (79) is finally touring Europe again. Wouldn' you love to go jamming with him? Everyone's feeling pretty. It's hotter than July...

We are personally looking forward to the concert of Grace Jones (77) at Montreux Jazz Festival. Gotta love her Edith Piaf cover of La Vie en rose. Quand il me prend dans ses bras, il me parle tout bais, je vois la vie en rose...

Or what about the Rolling Stones? Mick Jagger can 'Start me Up' any time, he is turning 82 this July. If you start me up, I"ll never stop...

Jazz lovers are looking forward to Herbie Hancock (85) coming to festivals across Europe. Pretty sure you would like to spend some time on his Cantaloup Island.

`In Paris, there 'Ain't no mountain high enough' for Diana Ross (81).

Did you know one of the most famous dance DJ's, David Guetta is 56?

When love takes over, your summer will be great!

Third Quarter Rocks in music.

Unless you are considering a career shift to become a musician or go for that long time dream of becoming a famous singer, here's a very simple midlife hack.

Ever day this summer, put on one of your favourite songs and dance to it. Or sing along from the top of your lungs. Or do both. Alone, with your partner, your (grand)children or your friends.

Just enjoy and let go. Third Quarter Rocks.

Stay tuned for more life hacks to enjoy your midlife in a positive way.

Enjoy the summer,

Elke & Jo
